Ocean City

Ocean City offers an array of great things to do for any age! At just under three miles, the Ocean City boardwalk is great for a family bike ride, an invigorating walk or run, or a relaxing tram ride. At night the boardwalk comes to life with rides, arcades, performers & much more. While in Ocean City stop by the many different specialty shops, amusements & putt-putt golf courses, great restaurants & oceanfront or bayside bars.


Recently name “America’s Coolest Small Town”, a visit to Berlin is a trip back in time. Pick up your guide to a walking tour, which will lead you to 47 homes in Berlin listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Berlin is an Arts & Entertainment District that is filled with art galleries, antique stores, and unique specialty shops. An array of special events are hosted in Downtown Berlin including the fantastic Farmers’ Market beginning in May. Snow Hill

The county seat, settled in 1642, comes alive with history & the arts. Snow Hill’s quaint downtown is the scene of First Fridays, Arts on the River, a unique bookstore, specialty shops & several art galleries. Visit the Purnell Museum, which houses arts and artifacts exclusively from Worcester County.


Appropriately, Pocomoke draws its life –and its charm– from the Pocomoke River. You’ll find excellent fishing just a short way down the river in Pocomoke Sound. Visit the city’s museums and the Marva Theater, a magnificent 1920s Art Deco theater that now hosts both movies & live productions. Pocomoke City’s Delmarva Discovery Center, located right on the riverbank features life-like exhibits on the river’s cultural & natural heritage, and explores the city’s long history as a shipbuilding center. It’s also home to an 8,000-gallon aquarium.


Catch a baseball game at the Perdue Stadium, visit the world famous Waterfowl Museum of Wildfowl Art, or take a stroll through Downtown Salisbury. The Wicomico Youth & Civic Center hosts various events throughout the year for children, adults & special interest groups. While you’re there, stop by the Salisbury Zoo. The Zoo features great wildlife exhibits & has been acclaimed as one of the finest small zoos in the country! Free admission.
